Chris Wynters

Chris is a founding member of Edmonton roots/rock/party band Captain Tractor. For many years Chris toured with CT, playing thousands of shows all over the world and recording seven albums.

Chris' first solo record, Skywriting is available from Six Shooter Records and on iTunes. His upcoming release, "Chris Wynters: 1984-2010" is a collection of 18 songs coming out this June as a 12 song CD, and accompanying 6 song digital EP. Nine of the songs are original works. The other nine are covers of some of Chris' favourite songs from the 1980s.

For the past five years Chris has been running the Norwood Studio with James Murdoch and has co/produced over 20 records including releases from The Wheat Pool, Amy Seeley, Deon Blyan and Jay Gilday.
